Our Class's Ice Cream Social

With the upcoming departure of good friends and faithful servants — Ruby Wiens, and Bud and Barbara Oas — please join everyone as we wish our friends a sweet farewell.

The Camps live one block past the Chapel pond; lots of street parking.

Please bring (a) your lawn chair, (b) a camera, (c) warm wishes, and (d) ice cream toppings, brownies, cookies, or a fruit bowl to share. We'll provide the ice cream, coffee, iced water, utensils, and napkins.

Help save lives by donating a pint at the Chapel's eighth annual blood drive.

Reserve your time, come to the worship center, read and fill out a form, take a quick preliminary exam, then donate. When done, relax and enjoy the best cookies and beverages available served by your Chapel friends.

"Oklahoma" by Sierra Repertory Theatre (SRT)

Rodgers and Hammerstein's first glorious collaboration created a new standard for musical theater. Set in the Western Territory just after the turn of the century, the high-spirited rivalry between the farmers and the cowboys provides a colorful backdrop for the love story of handsome cowboy Curly and winsome farm girl Laurey.

Join classmates at this classic musical performed by the renowned Sierra Repertory Theatre.

Brunch at the Buller's garden and patio
Join the class for a return trip to Ken and Rosalee's Avery garden and patio paradise. Get together with friends and enjoy brunch and one another's company. Contact Cruise Director Josie (795-3202) to reserve your space and tell her what food type you'll bring.

Meet the Mounts — Kevin and Jeni — Chapel Family Missionaries

Serving with Operation Mobilization, in Tyrone Georgia, the Mounts will visit with us during class time, from 9:00 until 10:30 a.m. Afterwards, starting at 3:00 p.m., please join the class at a get-together with the family (shown here) at Forest Meadow, in its lower park.

In addition to hearing from the family, look forward to swimming, bocce ball, and horseshoes, before picnicking with friends, starting at 5:30 p.m. Hot dogs and buns and beverages will be provided; please bring a salad or dessert to share.
