Pray for America

Dear Chapel friend:

You are invited to join Chapel friends at a one-hour prayer event. Unite with millions nationwide and become a prayer warrior this year as we honor our country's National Day of Prayer — Thursday, May 2, from noon to 1 o'clock, in the worship center.

Each person will sit in a prayer circle made up of seven believers. You'll be given a helpful prayer guide that highlights seven vital "center of power" prayer topics: government, church, military, family, media, education, and business.

With each topic, you'll simply spend a few minutes reading relevant Scripture, then praying aloud individually in your circle for each topic; prayer circles of seven will pray approximately five minutes per category.

In preparation for this event, please pray about your participation in it, asking the Father if He'd like you to pray for our country on this crucial occasion. Carefully listen to His answer.

No need to RSVP. Arrive at 11:50 a.m. Please bring a praying friend with you. Contact our event coordinator, George Farley, at 795-2917, with questions.
