A son asked his father, "Dad, will you take part in a marathon with me?"
The father who, despite having a heart condition, said, "Yes." They went on
to complete in one together. Father and son went on to compete in other
marathons, the father always saying "Yes" when his son asked him
to go through another ordeal together.
One day, the son asked his father, "Hey, Dad, let's compete in
The Ironman Triathlon together!" Hearing that, his father also said "Yes."
Ironman is the toughest of all triathlons! The race encompasses three different
endurance events of a 2.4-mile (3.86-kilometer) ocean swim, followed by a 112-mile (180.2-kilometer) bike ride, ending with a 26.2-mile (42.195-kilometer) marathon along the coast of the Big Island of Hawaii.
Father and son, the Hoyt Team, went on to complete the triathlon together.

I can do all things through Him who strengthens me (Philippians 4:13).
Team Hoyt is the inspirational story of a father, Dick Hoyt, and his son, Rick Hoyt,
who compete together in marathons and triathlons across the country.
Team Hoyt strives to help those who are physically disabled become
active members of the community, by spreading their message,
"Yes You Can!"
One more father-and-son team performs well through their challenges,
thanks to God's love and provision, as shown in this video.
