Have dessert with friends as you learn from Arnold-based missionaries how they'll help young Kenyan children this June. Sadly, the needy youngsters live at a dump site. But by God's grace, these children are being rescued; their lives are being transformed daily from scavenging to schooling.
The missions committee of Chapel in the Pines invites you and your family to a special dessert potluck get-together on Thursday, May 29, at 6:30 p.m. Meet Danise and Jeff Rapetti and Kim and Dave Hatfileld, long-time Arnold residents, who've planted a preschool — the Maisha Mapya Preschool — at the Gioto dump site in Kakuru, Kenya (shown in the photo that you should click for details).
Please join us this Thursday, the 29th, in the Chapel's worship center, to hear about this very special preschool ministry and see Dave's slideshow that's filled with dramatic yet inspirational photos. Discover what God continues to do in the preschool, enabling these young children of his to become healthier and better educated.
Kindly bring a dessert to share, as well as a friend or two. Beverages will be provided.
