r12 — true spirituality: Presented by Chip Ingram
Our all-church Bible study begins in a few weeks.
Starting April 11, each of the Chapel's small groups will meet and begin the introductory session #1 titled "What Is True Spirituality?" With fellow small-group members, you'll watch this introductory video and work from your handbook, getting a glimpse all six sessions and their high points, sharing questions and answers with one another, discussing relevant aspects of Sunday's sermon message, and planning to personally apply what you'll learn in your Romans 12 all-church study.
Being a genuine disciple of Christ flows out of a relationship with Him. It's about experiencing God's grace, not earning His love through performance. A real relationship with Jesus Christ will produce a follower whose life looks progressively more like His life. Romans 12 provides a relational profile of an authentic disciple.
Just like we have dreams for our kids, God has a dream for His children. More than God's dream being about what we do or the kind of job we have, His dream is about the kind of person we'll become. Your personal r12 study will help you see who He wants you to be. Please continue your journey, serving as an r12 Christian — an authentic follower of Christ.
