The Last of Our Mini-Books Studies — Jude
Next meeting — _______?_______.
Because Rosanne and I will be out of town on August 26 (our next scheduled meeting date), it remains to be seen if the group wants to meet that day and, if it does, who will moderate the study of Jude (unless a different meeting topic is chosen; see below). Please talk it up among yourselves or email one another and make your decision. If you decide to postpone the study of Jude, please tell me that and give me the date that you'd like me to moderate that study. I won't expect to moderate that study unless the group gives me the desired date.

Here are a few highlights of our group's study program.
- We meet on second and fourth Thursdays, beginning at 4:45 p.m. sharp, in PromisedLand. (Door is unlocked at 4:30 p.m.)
- Bring finger food to share, as well as your own beverage.
- We socialize with members while we prepare the table and catch up with one another.
- At 5:00 p.m., someone other than the facilitator will pray for our meal.
- Then we'll enjoy one another's finger food and share and enjoy our friendly fellowship.
- Prior to each meeting, we'll have read and become familiar with that week's study material (shown on the schedule below).
- At 5:30 p.m., the person facilitating that meeting's study will ask for prayers for the personal needs of others, as well as your personal thanksgivings, and then close our prayer time.
- The facilitator will coordinate the reading, study, and discussion of selected Scriptures.
- Our study ends at 6:45 p.m.
- When done, someone else will volunteer to pray for our thankfulness.
Each meeting's volunteer facilitator will prepare an outline and work from it. He or she will control the direction and flow of discussions. However, it's important for the facilitator to encourage participation by asking questions around the table and by inviting others to answer those questions, as well as share opinions on and experiences with those answers. Facilitators may provide study material if that would be helpful.
This Bible study format is designed to encourage participation and sharing during classes. Everyone is invited to read the upcoming back-up verses (shown on the schedule below) prior to arriving, as well as review chapter-specific commentaries (also shown below), read passages when we meet, ask and answer questions, and contribute to the discussion.
Ideally, when we take part in discussions, we come away from each meeting with a lot of knowledge and enlightenment about God's Word, seeking ways to apply it in our lives.
