Welcome and thanks for your interest in discovering how valuable the Chapel's AWANA Clubs program can be for your child and family.

Every AWANA Clubs meeting brims with life-enriching experiences for young people of various ages. A well-qualified staff of leaders who are dedicated to Christian ideals provides consistent, positive, biblical teaching every week — training that stresses strong moral and spiritual values. Clubbers learn about the reality of God and the truth of the Bible, enabling them to find peace — true peace — in a world that is literally filled with violence and troubling challenges.

AWANA Clubs gives your child the opportunity to Child Prayingdevelop a sincere, personal relationship with God and grow in His Word. It also provides a comfortable environment where adult leaders encourage, support, and direct children, helping them develop nurturing friendships with similarly aged children.

As a parent, you'll appreciate AWANA Clubs for many reasons. For example, you'll know your child is being led in a structured, well-prepared program. Materials are superbly written, designed to stimulate involvement and develop an eagerness to learn God's word. Young clubbers discover the importance of being team members, sharing thoughts, becoming more responsive to authority, and learning discipline.

To see how any of our six clubs provides this life-changing experience, Chapel in the Pines invites you and your child to join us for a meeting or two, observing, discovering, and sharing together all that AWANA Clubs has to offer. Your personal involvement will encourage your child to want to know more about living as a Christian.

If you've already decided that you'd like your child to become an AWANA clubber, fill out the two-page registration form and mail it to Chapel in the Pines, P.O. Box 9, Arnold, CA 95223. The form shows the fees for registration, uniforms, and handbooks for the six clubs.

We sincerely hope and pray that the AWANA Clubs program will be a positive experience for your family throughout the club season (September through May). We look forward to hearing from you soon.
